What is Submission Grappling?


Grappling, or Submission Wrestling is a relatively new combat sport with a long history. The term grappling is very general, and is used to describe the ground fighting aspect of Mixed Martial Arts. No matter what the name, from Japanese Jujitsu, or Jujutsu, to the Brazilian derivative Jiu Jitsu, to Russian SAMBO, the object of grappling or submission fighting remains the same—to control and submit ones opponent using takedowns, positions, joint locks and chokes. 
Because this training is typically high intensity and usually lasts for at least an hour, it burns a large amount of calories per workout. Submission Grappling is great for anyone who wants to lose weight and lose it fast. 

What is MMA? 

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, including boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay Thai, kickboxing, taekwondo, karate, judo and other styles.  This is another high intensity workout that will get you in great shape.

Our Team trains out of a private garage in Tamarac, FL. Training is invite only. We specialize in training powerlifters, fighters, bodybuilders, and strength athletes. Training in a TEAM setting will help you reach your potential. If you are interested in joining the team come try us out for FREE.
